A native Ohioan who worked her way through college, Joyce knows what its like for families who are working hard to pay the bills. Because of what's happening in our State and in our Country, because of what working class trends are known today, and because Joyce can contribute to what's next to helping others, Joyce is running for public service.
A businesswoman who knows what it takes to create Ohio jobs, Joyce started her business in Ohio with just one employee. Then she and her husband expanded their Records and Information Business to over a twenty-person site company that provided confidential services to hundreds of companies, large and small. Growing and venturing to other states and abroad, Joyce knows how to create success from the ground up.
Dedicated to Ohio education, Joyce received her Bachelor's from Capital University in Columbus and her Master's in Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Joyce was also an Inaugural Member of Ohio State University's Women & Philanthropy and is a seasoned subscriber of OSU football – “GO BUCKS!”
Passionate about civic engagement, Joyce has served with a number of Ohio non-profit organizations committed to arts and education, men and women's health care, and children with special needs. Joyce has lent her entrepreneurial spirit and expertise to local causes, now she can put it to work to fix what's unfair and unrealistic in Ohio, in ways the career politicians never will.
No stranger to public service, Joyce’s upbringing was rooted in serving Stark County. Her father, William J. Healy, worked for Ohioans for over 25 years in the state assembly and her brother, William J. Healy, II, has served as Canton’s Mayor since 2008. Joyce lives in Canton with her husband, Jeff, and their youngest daughter, Helena.
Join Joyce in restoring, reforming, and reviving prosperity and the American Dream in Ohio!
